“I try to design the clothes while keeping in mind how quickly kids grow,” said Janel, who previously co-founded Abe Jones children’s clothing. “For instance, our dresses are made to be dresses first, then tunics over leggings the following year.”
In addition, Nohi Kids incorporates elastic waist and arm details for easy on/off and the inevitable growth spurts. Several Nohi Kids pieces are ideal for mixing and matching, from bubble skirts with leggings and a long-sleeved graphic tee to a sash dress with leggings.
Nohi Kids will also debut their organic Nohi Baby collection this fall, featuring owl, apple, and car prints on bodysuits, yoga pants, and blankets for ages newborn to 18 months. Just like the kids collection, all Nohi Baby fabric is a combination of certified organic cotton, fiber from bamboo, and a touch of spandex to keep it washing well and lasting forever.

From classic cowboy boots to retro loafers to pretty pink boots, the fall/winter ’11 collection for Livie & Luca marks the debut of several new styles destined to become customer favorites. Livie & Luca drew visual inspiration from their photo shoot on a Northern California farm to tell the story of their collection, using only vintage, thrifted items. The well-rounded collection features new baby styles in sizes 0-6 months up to 18-24 months and child styles in sizes 4 to 13, retailing for $34 to $45 at www.livieandluca.com.
Considered the gem of the season, the Buck cowboy boots have a touch of Nashville swagger and a dash of rock n’ roll flair- yet still retain the modern simplicity that defines Livie & Luca.
