Crawling and scooting babies have a new motivation- Squeeky Knees is a product collection featuring a patent-pending squeaker device sewn into garments that creates a fun squeaking sound when baby is on the go. Whether they are crawling on hardwood floors or taking their first steps (and falls), Squeeky Knees are designed to encourage babies to be mobile.
Lisa Day Evans created Squeeky Knees in 2010 after watching her son Elijah learning to crawl on hard surfaces. She realized he needed something comfortable to cushion his knees and prevent abrasions that also inspired him to explore his newfound ability to crawl.
A few additional Squeeky Knees features:
-Cushioned squeaker device in knee and butt regions add comfort
-Alerts parents to baby’s location with the squeaking sounds
-Washable/dryable in standard machines
Lisa partnered with Right Bank Babies, a collection of Parisian-inspired children’s clothing, to create unique Squeeky Knees styles, including knee highs, jeans, pants, overalls/onesies, and stockings/leggings. Squeeky Knees retail for $25 to $80 and are sold at www.rightbankbabies.com, as well as other fine boutiques that carry Right Bank Babies.
