Magnolia PR Introduces Kristinit Clothing’s Spring/Summer ’08 Collection
January 23, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA)—Magnolia PR is excited to announce the addition of Kristinit clothing. Drawing inspiration from vintage (think ‘40s screen sirens like Marlene Dietrich), objects in nature, and strong women in history, former costume designer Kristina Lenss constructs pieces with an eye for detail and classic glamour. Kristinit recently unveiled her Spring/Summer ’08 collection of ruffled silk tops, ‘40s-style jackets, and elegant yet wearable dresses made of silk, jersey, and cotton. Retail prices range from $225 to $350.
Kristinit was created in the fall of 2005 and quickly caught the eye of the fashion world, named “One To Watch” by Lucky magazine. Stylish stars including Eva Mendes (who bought the silk Biba tunic at Krisol in Los Angeles), Scarlett Johansson, and Zooey Deschanel have all purchased Kristinit.
Focused not only on style but also substance, Lenss makes sure every garment is locally constructed and a percentage of each sale is donated to various charities that promote the well being of life on our planet, including onepercentfortheplanet.org and pachama.org.
“As a consumer, it is important to question where your clothes come from. The most beautiful thing about a piece of clothing is not how cheaply you bought it or even the style of it, but rather where it was made, who made it and what kind of impact it has on the environment.” says Kristina.
Kristinit is available at boutiques nationwide, and at www.kristinit.com. High resolution images and samples available.
